anti-theft crossbody bag
perfect, exact what I wanted.
perfect, exact what I wanted.
Bought this as I was going on city breaks. Some of the features are so stiff I can’t use them. Got caught in a downpour and the bag & everything inside was sodden.
I really wish I hadn’t bought it!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
We have a short instructional video that demonstrates how to open the secured Dock Lock: https://videos.sproutvideo.com/embed/d391d0bf1418e9ce5a/b5aa33e89f795201.
Regarding the water resistance, as noted on our website, this bag has a rating of 1000 mm, which means it can withstand light rain but is not fully waterproof.
Thank you very much.
This bag is fine in many ways, but looks a little more like a toiletries bag in person - mostly due to the fabric. However, that would still be okay if I could open the side pocket zipper. It has a method to open it that isn't quick (nor possible for me) so that the pocket is secure, but no matter how forcefully I squeeze the sides of the zipper together (which pushes them up to release the zipper pull), I could not release the zipper at all. I followed the included instructions. There's nothing to grab on one side of the zipper, so you're pushing through the covering flap too. I can imagine someone asking for my passport and I'd be flailing around trying to squeeze open the zipper, taking ages to do it. As it is, I've yet to be able to open it. I didn't want to damage the bag, so I didn't get out any tools. All this would be disappointing, but fine - I can return the bag to Pacsafe. Well, that's been frustrating too. They require that I pay for the return. This is not me changing my mind about the color, or style, it's about the bag not functioning as intended. In this case, the security measure in place makes one part of the bag unusable. So, there's far less value in the bag. I believe they should cover the return cost. A polite customer service person has messaged me a couple times responding to my requests saying that the customer pays for the return. Even when it's defective? I don't find the customer service to be in line with protection of the consumer (= their goal…

Regarding the return, we do ask customers to cover return shipping for non-warranty-related cases. However, we take potential defects seriously. We’ve reviewed your email but haven’t yet received any photos or videos showing the issue. If you could kindly share those with us, we’ll be happy to assess whether this qualifies as a manufacturing defect — and if so, we’ll absolutely work with you on a resolution, including arranging a replacement or covering the return.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you very much.
