3 Years Later: Still Love It, But the Backpack Mechanism Could Be Better
I’ve been using this bag for about 3 years now, and it has traveled with me on so many trips. Overall, I really love the bag. The convertible design is practical, the size is great for traveling, and it has been a reliable travel companion.
The only thing I find a bit weird is the mechanism for positioning and attaching the straps when the bag is worn as a backpack. The straps themselves are good and comfortable, but because of how they are connected to the bag, there is a noticeable gap between the bag and my back. It doesn’t sit as naturally and securely as I would expect, especially when the bag is packed.
For longer periods of wearing, this can feel a little awkward because the bag doesn’t stay as close to my back as a regular backpack would. I think the backpack straps would work much better if they had a more dedicated and secure attachment system that keeps the bag closer to the body.
After 3 years of using this bag for my travels, I still really love the concept and the overall quality. I just wish the backpack-conversion mechanism were designed a little differently.

I would definitely love to see more convertible bags from Pacsafe with an improved backpack attachment mechanism. The concept is great; this small design change could make it much more comfortable and practical for long-term travel.
