Wat Arun has become somewhat synonymous with the Bangkok skyline thanks to its vibrant gold hue at night and Khmer style tower standing tall above the city’s Grand Palace—it’s pretty hard to miss. With a modest entry fee of only 50 baht, it’s an incredibly affordable pit stop on your way around one of the world’s most eclectic cities.
