I have travelled light for decades....long before airlines began charging for checked bags. I always take a backpack, but sometimes have to add a 2-wheeled carry-on wheelie for when I need bulky winter clothes or sports gear. One problem is that often times, such as in third-world countries where sidewalks/footpaths are rough or non-existent, a wheelie is like a Toyota Corolla going off-road. This bag serves the purpose. When 2 bags have been necessary in the past, this bag does it all singlehandedly.
At 34 liters, this bag offers more room than most backpacks (except for hiking backpacks), likely because it is rectangular rather than arch-shaped. Think of it as a soft-sided wheelie case with shoulder straps replacing the wheels.
It opens like a traditional suitcase (like a book), rather than only at the top end (like nearly all backpacks), making the contents much more accessible and organizable (?is that a word?).
A side handle is good for carrying the bag in your hand. At present, when using the side handle, the shoulder straps flail around all over the place. The development team might consider sewing a new, openable loop containing a releasable connector to the rear of the bag. The shoulder straps could then simply be brought together in the center and the new loop used to wrap around them and keep them snug against the bag. Otherwise, the shoulder straps are constantly searching for something to get snagged to.

Great Travel Backpack – Peace of Mind While Travelling
I recently used my Pacsafe GO 34L Anti-Theft Carryon Backpack on my holiday in Barcelona, and I’m really pleased with it. I felt confident carrying it around and had peace of mind knowing that my belongings were secure.
This is actually my third Pacsafe bag, which says a lot about how much I trust the brand. I’m also planning to purchase a Pacsafe crossbody bag to go with this one for future travels.
One feature I particularly liked is the internal compression strap, which helps keep everything securely in place inside the bag. It stops your clothes and other items from sliding down and collecting at the bottom when you’re carrying the backpack.
The anti-theft features are another big plus. I felt reassured knowing that my belongings were protected while walking around and exploring.
The only downside I found is that securing the two main zips together with the lock can be a little fiddly, especially when you’re in a hurry. Once you get the hang of it, though, it becomes easier.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a secure, practical and spacious travel backpack.
