Finally, a backpack that takes security seriously
I’m extremely happy with this backpack. I was specifically looking for a travel backpack that combines as many real anti-theft features as possible, and the Pacsafe EXP35 is probably the only backpack I found that truly met my requirements.
What I really like is that Pacsafe combines so many of its best security features in one backpack: reinforced straps with embedded security cables, secure attachment points, locking options for the zippers, and multiple ways to make unauthorized access much more difficult. Everything feels very well thought out, and the overall ergonomics of the backpack are excellent as well.
I looked at backpacks from The North Face, Cotopaxi, Thule, and several other brands. Many of them are great backpacks in terms of comfort or organization, but when it comes to real-world theft protection, they simply did not offer what I was looking for. Pacsafe did.
There is only one small improvement I would suggest. The zipper pulls that fit into each other can sometimes come apart while carrying the backpack, especially when the bag is being moved, lifted, lowered, or tilted. It would be great if Pacsafe could add a small magnetic mechanism there, so the zipper pulls would snap together and stay securely aligned until you intentionally separate them.
Other than that, I am completely satisfied. I’m Ukrainian, so I probably take personal security and protecting my belongings a little more seriously than average, and Pacsafe really gives me the kind of…
